What do I use for my license URL?
The license URL should be the exact url of your CubeCart store homepage. If you CubeCart store is located in a sub directory (eg. www.mycubecartstore.com/store/) and you only provide your base url (eg. www.mycubecartstore.com), your license URL will be denied.
If you are entirely unsure the url of your CubeCart store homepage, you can reference your global.inc.php file. Both CubeCart 3 and CubeCart 4 users can find global.inc.php located in the includes subdirectory of your CubeCart store installation. Your MyCubeCart.com license URL will be the value provided for $glob['storeURL']. For further assistance, please contact support.
Is a skin or mod license transferable?
MyCubeCart.com licenses are only transferable within the same domain of the initial purchase. This type of transfer requires MyCubeCart.com to reset your license, please contact support so we may assist you.
Your validation will not let me add a skin or mod to my cart, what gives?
You are required to provide the valid URL to your CubeCart store homepage with each product you wish purchase. Failure to do so will prevent you from adding a product to your cart. If you have provided a valid URL and are still receiving errors, please contact support with the product and store url.
I haven’t installed CubeCart yet, can I still purchase a skin or mod license?
No. Product licenses are only granted to installed and fully functional versions of CubeCart.
My CubeCart store is not live yet, can I purchase a skin or mod license?
If you have installed CubeCart and it is fully functional, you may purchase a skin or mod license. You must however provide the exact location of the store homepage as your license URL.
Can I remove the MyCubeCart.com copyright notice in the templates?
You may only remove the copyright notices in the footer of global/index.tpl and global/cart.tpl after purchasing a copyright removal license. Removal of all other copyright notices in css, html comments and documentation are stictly prohibited at all times. If any copyright notice is removed without valid license or approval, the skin or mod will cease to function.
I’m just in for the freebies, do I still need a license?
Yes. All MyCubeCart.com skin and mod products require a vaild license in order to function properly.
